Order an ISDN line from NTT

First, you must order an ISDN line from NTT. If you already have an ISDN line, please move on to Step Two. The NTT tool-free number to place orders and ask questions about ISDN service is:

When you place your order, please be certain to order INS 64 service. Other types of services with more channels exist for large businesses or heavy telecommunications needs.

Also, when you place your order, be certain to order a DSU (Digital Service Unit). Unless your terminal adapter includes a DSU (more about terminal adpaters in Step Two), you will need a DSU to connect your ISDN line to your terminal adapter. You have the option of renting or purchasing the DSU.
